The culture of a company can stem from different things but is essentially the character and personality of an organization. At Cash 4 You, our culture is made up of a few elements. It begins at both our vision and mission statement. Our vision to "Deliver happiness to all our customers.” As well as our mission to "Provide exceptional service ay every touchpoint.” They go hand in hand showing that the spirit of Cash 4 You is putting our best foot forward while always keeping the customer's happiness the very first priority. Our core values say a lot about the culture here, my favourite one would have to be "Build a positive team and family spirit.” This speaks volumes about our company as a whole. Hi there, my name is Miranda and I was just recently hired on as a CSR at Cash 4 You. Before being hired on with this company I was employed with another company for close to 10 years. That being said, I have had my fair share of retail experiences. The first week I started here at Cash 4 You it was hard not to notice how customer obsessed they are around here. My last company, in my eyes, has always been a company that really cares for the customer and goes above and beyond when necessary, but working here it is so much more of a personal connection that it really is difficult to not notice just how much this company strives for that relationship with each and every person. The culture here at Cash 4 You is by far the most fun, inviting and in your face out of anywhere I've worked in the past. Seeing all the things this company does for its employees such as pizza days and little incentives really goes to show just how much the company really cares not only for its customers but also their employees. Working with Cash 4 You brings not only a great job with lots of development opportunities it brings a sense of belonging and value. Well, when I started with Cash 4 You in 2015, it became clear on the very first day what sets Cash 4 You apart from my other employers. Cash 4 You is REALLY ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS. As soon as they enter the door they are welcomed into our home. They are not a customer but rather our Brother, Sister, Parent or even GrandParents. I am proud to be able to build that relationship with our customers and in turn get to know them and their families. It is the small things we do that we don't even think about like giving them a bottle of water at the window, sending them a PEC card or surprising them with a 70th birthday gift when they least expect it. However, to my own dismay, at those companies - they didn't care how the customer experience was, just as long as the customer was generally served. After beginning at Cash 4 You, I found that is NEVER seemingly so here. As I am a people person, I thrive on human interaction, and human interaction with a broad spectrum of individuals. I was highly enthused to find at Cash 4 You, that our main focus is on customer HAPPINESS. Having worked at several different customer service places, I can confidently say that Cash 4 You's culture is one of the greatest I have had the pleasure of being a part of. If they are going through hard times we go through hard times with them, if they are happy we are happy with them. At that point it's not really customer service anymore it's customer assistance. The importance of Cash 4 You's culture was made very apparent to me a few weeks ago when I lost my father. Cash 4 You is more than a place to work for me. I have worked so much retail in my life I never found a place I actually looked forward to going to everyday...that is until now. I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Cash 4 You Family for almost 3 years now, and I absolutely love my job, the people I work with and our customers. We truly are a family and are here to support one another, which is very hard to find in any retail job, if at all. I love that we are more than just a number, we have an owner who takes the time to know his employees, we have an amazing team at Head Office that is always willing to help, and we have incredible family members all through the company willing to help without hesitation, no matter what store you are from. I've never been a part of such a company that will not only go above and beyond for their customers, but their staff as well. We take the time to know the people we are in touch with and follow through with encouragement and support. What's different about it compared to other company cultures? We are different from other cultures because we are so connected with each other. Webinars and meetings keep us all up-to-date and in touch with each other on a regular basis. Our communications keep us up to date with any changes and allow us to share comments and suggestions (best practices) with each other. What do you like about our Culture? We are different from other companies because we are transparent; anyone can access the same info whether you are in corporate office or a CSR in one of the stores. Before starting with Cash 4 You, I was extremely nervous about how I would adapt to the new environment, and also about all the new things I needed to learn. On my first day in store, I was warmly welcomed by my manager: Amandeep, and my district manager, Nancy. Both of them welcomed me to the team and made me feel as though they've known me for years. The day I started working with Cash 4 You, it has been a great experience for me. I learnt so much from our little family of Cash 4 You. Everyone has been so helpful and thoughtful. I learnt how to tackle situations gracefully. Everybody not only respects each other but their cultures as well. We learn from each other. It just feels like being with family. What I like about our culture is when we need help from any reason we can call any store and they will go above and beyond helping each other. When our system was giving us some issues last week and we needed help with opening our store or closing our store whomever we reach out to they were patient and very helpful. When I compare this with other companies that I have worked for, there was little assistant when you need help. Sometime when other company's try to help you they can be a little short.
