It doesn't matter how much money you make or how many weeks of vacation you are given; when you work in a toxic environment, you still come home tense and stressed at the end of each day. And that isn't worth it. On the other hand, there is nothing better than working at an organization with a great culture. To me a big part of the culture is Teamwork, Our team has grown together and has had pieces added along the way as well as some going to other locations, but we all still keep in touch and that make us who we are today, so much so that is more of a family environment. Cash 4 You is Perfect4Me. I joined the C4Y team in March of this year having just moved from Newfoundland to be near my parents in their final years. My trainer Sierra made it clear from Day 1 that this was a company unlike others…because we're a family. The words at the time kind of went in one ear out the other because most companies in your first weeks are full of promises and enthusiasm. Within two months, I witnessed and became part of this family. At some of the most trying and difficult times of my life, I found myself anxious to get to work to be with my coworkers. I laughed and excelled at a time when, without Cash 4 You I could have crumbled. I have met some truly incredible people at the two stores. As I am still fairly new to the Cash 4 You family, I am blown away by the culture of this company. The training has been very hands on and the support I have been given is excellent. My buddy trainer at times has been busy assisting customers but encourages me to shadow and ask questions while she works. The district manager has also been a big help, giving feedback to me whenever possible. Even if he is not able to make it in store, his presence is felt and there is an overall feeling of respect towards not just this position, but towards the man himself. I love that I am encouraged to speak my mind and give feedback, even to those above me. The overall appreciation towards customers is also outstanding. I enjoy coming in and seeing which customers have a birthday coming up and making sure they have cards created for the occasion. Overall, I am looking forward to being a part of the family for a long time to come. It has been a very positive and friendly environment to be in.

I have been lucky enough to see first-hand what you perceive as something small means so much to someone.
