As I am still fairly new to the Cash 4 You family, I am blown away by the culture of this company. The training has been very hands on and the support I have been given is excellent. My buddy trainer at times has been busy assisting customers but encourages me to shadow and ask questions while she works. The district manager has also been a big help, giving feedback to me whenever possible. Even if he is not able to make it in store, his presence is felt and there is an overall feeling of respect towards not just this position, but towards the man himself. I love that I am encouraged to speak my mind and give feedback, even to those above me. The overall appreciation towards customers is also outstanding. I enjoy coming in and seeing which customers have a birthday coming up and making sure they have cards created for the occasion. Everyone cares, all the way up to the head office. When my sister passed away, everyone was very understanding. I couldn't believe after just knowing everyone for a month that I was sent flowers, and they called to check on me and to make sure I was ok. Cash 4 You is Perfect4Me. I joined the C4Y team in March of this year having just moved from Newfoundland to be near my parents in their final years. My trainer Sierra made it clear from Day 1 that this was a company unlike others…because we're a family. The words at the time kind of went in one ear out the other because most companies in your first weeks are full of promises and enthusiasm. Within two months, I witnessed and became part of this family. At some of the most trying and difficult times of my life, I found myself anxious to get to work to be with my coworkers. I laughed and excelled at a time when, without Cash 4 You I could have crumbled. I have met some truly incredible people at the two stores. I consider myself lucky to be working side-by-side my manager Ivory, and remain good friends with fellow CSR's...Jowell and Callie. When I first started with CASH 4 YOU, I was originally located at a store in London. I started off with a great manager and awesome CSRs. They helped me with an easy transformation, as I had never worked in any field close to this. About a month in I ran into some personal issues and had to relocate back to my home town, which was an hour away from the store…Once my DM had heard that, he had arranged with Steve to have me train in my hometown. When one person is up, the whole team/family is up. If someone is down, the rest of the team tries to help that individual to make them feel better. Unlike some other companies who have large employee numbers where they would rather just see you come to work and do your job and then leave with no questions asked. Whether it's taking the time to hear about what's going on in a customer's life or joking around with my team, the days just all melt into each other.
